how does the bone witch bone witch?
My Approach
Do you do more than chiropractic? Do I have to have my neck cracked when I see you
What modalities do you use?
If you're asking these questions you're in the right place.
Firsties: yes, no, and many.
I am a multi-modal practitioner who is trained and licensed as a chiropractic physician, so I know and adminster chiropractic techniques (adjusting) and I also employ a variety of muscle techniques as well: active release technique (ART), recipricol inhibition (RI), contract-relax, pin and stretch, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy technique (MET), skin rolling and I am familiar with Bowen therapy and other soft tissue manipulation and massage techniques as well, including Thai massage. I use these methods in combination with chiropractic assessments and energy work, with dialogue and deep listening both from your mind and body to address what arises in our sessions.
And no, you don't have to have your neck cracked - or anything else for that matter - when you see me. If I think an adjustment is the right move, I'll ask first and explain what I mean and I won't adjust you unless you explicitly agree to it. It can also explicitly be off the table, so to speak.
